Why did Frank Ury stick it to M.V. home owners by putting them in fire hazard zones?

Guess what???? On May 19, 2024 The Mission Viejo City Council was bit right where it hurts by the Orange County Fire Authority. The OCFA without notifying city hall, (or Chief Architect of this fiasco—Rhonda Reardon) —sent out thousands of letters to city residents telling them they were in fire hazard zones. Now the fun has begun, as various insurance companies have started cancelling policies. This has left homeowners without fire insurance.
Does this sound a little like Obama Care?
Did Reardon say “You can keep your fire insurance- if you like it !“ ?
I guess the naivety of Council members Reardon,Kelley, F.Ury and Leckness shows brightly on this latest council fiasco. Only one councilmember knew what was going to happen—but she was marginalized, belittled, and ostracized by the all “knowing” majority.
